Hello, I’m Erin
Let me introduce myself
I love numbers. And patterns. And don’t even get me started about patterns with numbers!
I have a huge issue with odors and sounds. It is hard for me to ignore either one when bad.
Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. God gave us a beautiful world filled with amazing places and interesting people. I want to experience it all.
I am a huge sports fan. We have season tickets to the Cleveland Browns, Indy 500, and Grand Rapids Griffins, as well as regularly support the WMU Broncos, Detroit Tigers, Kalamazoo Growlers, NASCAR, and World of Outlaws.
I am a runner (a very, very, very slow runner). Five miles is my farthest distance so far, but I would like to do a half marathon. I prefer mud runs over regular races, but don’t discriminate as long as a t-shirt is involved.
Love music of all kinds and live music is even better. Very few concerts would I pass up if given a choice and unlimited funds.
I am remarried to Joe, a childhood friend who I reconnected with almost 20 years after high school. Blessed to have him in my life, as our my kids. And we are both Disney fans (him maybe a smidgen more than me) so we were married at Disney World on February 29th (my number choice).
Have two awesome kids and three amazing step-kids. Each one is unique and special, and Joe and I each have a “mini-me” in the mix which leads to some humorous moments.
I have two dogs to complete the household. Riley is a 10 year old German Shepherd/Collie mix and leaves her mark in the form of hairballs everywhere she goes. Kosar (yes, named after Bernie Kosar) is a 2 year old Dachshund/Beagle/Jack Russell mix. We nicknamed him Honey Badger as he will do anything including jumping out of second story windows and eating wasps. The two of them make a good tag team for hunting ground squirrels.
I have been living with a diagnosis of MS for over 15 years. I changed my diet rather drastically in April of 2016 and have been symptom free since. Love to talk to anyone about that experience as I wish I would have tried it much sooner so I could have saved myself years of pain and other issues.
I am a Christian. That doesn’t make me perfect, but I am forgiven by the grace of God and the blood of Jesus. Much like my diet change with MS, this is something I happy to talk about as it has changed my life in an even more important way.
